From anywhere, to everywhere A foldable and portable electric bike uniquely developed in Japan: TATAMEL BIKE

The “CES 2023 Innovation Awards” winning bike was inspired by Japanese transformable toys. The ingenious transformation mechanism enables a beautiful and playful design both before and after folding. The bike created in Japan, where parking space is limited, is a new and unprecedented electric-motor mobility vehicle. You can customize the bike by exchanging its outer panels, as if changing smartphone covers. Moreover, the bike serves as a portable power supply, which may be useful in case of an emergency. The TATAMEL BIKE is a new lifestyle mobility product.

Bringing a little bit of happiness and smiles into the daily lives of all people living in our Internet society

At Galari, we are developing the world’s first ever e-paper based art frame. Art on Galari can be changed on a regular interval bringing new discoveries and joy, and information such as the weather or traffic can also be included. Using Galari is easy. The user simply selects an exhibit (playlist) and enjoys new art everyday. The e-paper on Galari does not emit light and does not attract any attention unlike LCD screens which are bright and distracting.

Communication reform of manufacturing by democratizing 3D CAD data utilization

We provide a 3D document creation tool called “Scene,” which can handle 3D CAD data extremely easily.

“Scene” has overcome the high barriers for the use of 3D data in production engineering or at manufacturing sites, and has been enabled by features such as only requiring browser access instead of a high-spec computer, and whose operation can be learned in only a few minutes.

“Scene” enables remote communication between business bases located in Japan and overseas, as well as between design, production engineering, and manufacturing divisions, by the use of 3D data. As a result, it realizes the development of procedure manuals, standardization of processes, capitalization of technical know-how, and quality traceability that are twice as fast as conventional procedures.

“SUNDA” is a “pay-as-you-go” automated fee collection system for wells in rural areas in Africa, where 700 million people live

We manufacture, sell, and provide services for the SUNDA water wells in Uganda, Africa. SUNDA is an automated meter-rate fee collection system used for water wells.

In rural areas in Africa, water wells were previously not appropriately operated nor maintained, resulting in wells that were damaged and then left as such for over thirty years.

Water problems in Africa will never be solved without a sustainable system for proper water management, that is independent on international aid. As the foundation for the solution of these problems, we have developed SUNDA, a system to collect fees from residents. We are in the process of installing the system in applicable areas, in cooperation with the Ugandan government, and other relevant organizations.

Technology development and consulting utilizing “traditional wisdom x artificial intelligence”

“Traditional wisdom” (e.g. Buddhist teachings) and “cutting-edge technologies” (e.g. AI, AR, VR) appear to be as incompatible as oil and water. Nonetheless, we have combined these two different things and created a new wisdom and technology. An important example of our achievements is “Buddhabot,” an AI dialogue system which learned Buddhist sutras written 2500 years ago.

We are planning to apply this latest technology and wisdom to business settings. We are going to develop and provide various systems, that can be utilized for issues such as: communication and amendment of management philosophies using AI; improvement of employees’ mental health and their relationships based on video and text data analysis; and matching analysis for recruitment and department assignment.

New animation CGI created with VR for your video productions

VR devices continue to evolve, so that users can experience more beautiful imagery, while at the same time their physical movements are reflected more precisely in the virtual world.

As a new type of entertainment enabled by VR, we focus on the possibilities of the digitization of theatrical performance.

For this purpose, we have been developing two kinds of applications since the establishment of the company in September, 2020.

One is an unprecedented VR game that incorporates the features of a theatrical performance. The other is animation/CG video creation software utilizing a new method in which animation and CG videos can be filmed like a live-action film by using the virtual world as a film studio.
